Target Audience: Chemical/lab personnel, safety personnel, and employees involved in handling hazardous substances across chemical plants, electronics, manufacturing, construction, and other related industries. Course Outline: • Intro to Chemical Safety & HazCom: Regulations, chemical classifications, exposure routes, SDS interpretation, and labeling. • PPE & Safe Handling: Proper selection of PPE, emergency facilities, storage guidelines, and spill response techniques. • Risk Assessment & Control: Hazard analysis, engineering vs. administrative controls, and emergency evacuation/fire safety. • Compliance & Culture: WSH Act compliance, local/international regulations, reporting concerns, and building a continuous safety culture. • Practical Application: Real-life case studies, safety equipment demonstrations, and incident analysis. Pre-requisites: Learners must be able to apply numbers, listen, read, speak, and write English at a proficiency level equivalent to the Employability Skills System (ESS-Level-2). Additional Information: Class Types: Saturday or Evening classes available. Requirements: 100% attendance required. Assessment: 30-question Written MCQ (Learner must achieve 75% to pass). Certification: Certificate of Competency awarded by Ensure Safe Consultancy Pte Ltd upon successful completion.
