Course: Supervise Workplace Safety and Health in Process Plant Course Code: PI-PRO-328E-1 Course Overview This course equips supervisors and operational leaders with the knowledge and skills to supervise workplace safety and health in a process plant environment. It focuses on legal compliance, hazard identification, risk assessment, permit to work systems, safety inspections, and incident investigation in line with Singapore WSH requirements and WSQ standards. Should Attend Supervisors and team leaders in process plants. Operations supervisors. Safety and health representatives. Engineers and technicians with supervisory duties. Managers overseeing process plant operations. Entry Requirements Participants should have basic supervision experience. Participants should have basic knowledge of Workplace Safety and Health requirements in Singapore. Participants should be able to read, write, and communicate in English at ESS Level 5 or equivalent. Learning Outcomes Upon completion, participants will be able to: Comply with Workplace Safety and Health legislation, regulations, and codes of practice. Conduct job safety analysis and workplace risk assessments. Identify hazards and implement appropriate risk control measures. Apply and supervise permit to work systems. Conduct safety and health inspections. Carry out incident investigations and report findings. Course Duration and Schedule Total training duration: 29 hours. Total assessment duration: 3 hours. Course runs over 4 days from 08:30 to 17:30. Attendance requirement: Minimum 75 percent to be eligible for certification. Assessment Method Practical performance and workplace-based activities. Written and oral questioning. Continuous formative assessment during the course. Certification Participants who are assessed as Competent will receive a WSQ Statement of Attainment for Supervise Workplace Safety and Health in Process Plant.
